What is Copyright?

Copyright protects your rights as the creator of your intellectual property. Copyright can only be given in part or whole and transferred in writing. Traditional publishing usually requires authors to transfer complete copyrights. However, Open Access publishing allows authors to retain the copyright, and articles are available under a Creative Commons license.

 

Understanding Creative Commons Licenses

Creative Commons Licenses (or CC) allow readers to use copyrighted work under certain conditions set by the author.
